Vintani German Shepherds was founded out of a deep love for the breed and two very special dogs - Vinnie and Tani. They were the shepherds that started it all: loyal, intelligent, and versatile, they showed us what this breed can truly be. Their influence and spirit live on in every decision we make and every litter we raise.

Located in the Southern Tablelands of NSW, in the country town of Tarago, our dogs are raised as part of our family before going on to homes all across Australia. With a background in veterinary medicine, we focus on producing German Shepherds that are not only beautiful and structurally correct, but also healthy, stable, and versatile.

Our breeding program carefully blends European and Australian bloodlines, always with health and temperament at the forefront. All of our breeding dogs comply with the German Shepherd Dog Council of Australia’s health and breed improvement schemes, giving every puppy the best possible foundation.

The versatility of our shepherds is something we’re proud of:

• Earning excellent gradings and championships in the show ring

• Achieving ANKC sporting titles in obedience, rally, scent work, herding, endurance, weight pull, endurance, working pack dog, lure coursing, sprint dog and dancing with dogs

• Current progeny are excelling in service and therapy roles

• And above all, our dogs are thriving as beloved family companions
