CINDERHOF CHAANEL X CINDERHOF DIAABLO

Christmas Day 2024 will always be a special date for us — it was the day our very first litter arrived. Between 9am and 4pm, our beautiful girl Australian Champion Cinderhof Chaanel AZ HIT ET JC TK.S WPD (“Tani”) delivered six healthy puppies naturally at home.

This litter was carefully planned, pairing Tani with the handsome Australian Champion Cinderhof Diaablo AZ (“Diaablo”). Both dogs are wonderful examples of the breed, each successful in the show ring and versatile in sport. Together, they brought the perfect balance of type, temperament, and ability.

  • Diaablo has enjoyed a successful show career and is known for his kind, playful nature. He’s passed all health and temperament testing required under the GSDCA schemes and is happiest playing fetch with his ball. Social and eager to please, he has an easy-going character that shines through.

  • Tani has also had an excellent show career, but she is equally well known for her versatility across ANKC sports. From sheep herding to scent work, tricks, endurance, and working pack dog titles, Tani has proven herself time and again. In 2023, both Tani and Diaablo won their respective classes at the Sydney Royal Easter Show — a proud achievement for both dogs.

Early Life

From the very beginning, these puppies were given the best possible start. Between 3–16 days of age they experienced Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI).

  • ENS involved a series of gentle handling exercises designed to strengthen their resilience, improve stress responses, and support physical development.

  • ESI introduced them to new scents such as cat hair, horse hair, birch, clove, anise, cypress, sheep wool, feathers, herbs, dirt, and grass. This helped to build their scenting ability and curiosity about the world.

From 2 to 8 weeks, the puppies were raised using Puppy Culture protocols, a program specifically designed to guide puppies through their critical socialisation period. They were exposed to different people, sights, sounds, surfaces, and foods. They also began their early training, including learning to sit calmly for attention.

By the time they left for their new families, each puppy had grown into a confident, curious, and well-prepared little individual. While the work we did gave them the foundation, it is now up to their new families to continue building on that early start.

Looking Ahead

This first litter was a milestone for us — a dream years in the making. We feel so lucky to have had six happy, healthy puppies who are now thriving in their new homes across Australia.

We can’t wait to watch them grow and see what they achieve, whether in the show ring, in sport, or simply as much-loved family companions.
